Lorraine Tyler

Lorraine Tyler (nee Sapitro), age 87, lifetime resident of Chicago area, most recently of LaGrange, Illinois.

Loving wife of Patrick, dear mother of Robert (Katharine), Patti (Paul) Dominick, the late Betty Jean, Terry (Harry) Hayden, Jennifer (Tom) Lena; fond grandmother of Tim (Jon Schildt) Tyler, Charlie (Eric Shetzen) Tyler, Max (Jordan) Schram, Jackie (David) Vachon, Kerry Stolte (nee Hayden), Kevin (Emily) Hayden, Christine (Ryan) Skryd, Matt Lena, Mike Lena; proud great grandmother of 5.  Predeceased by parents James and Cecilia Sapitro and mother-in-law Louise Tyler; Cherished sister of the late Emil (Rose) and late Samuel (Victoria) Sapitro; fond aunt to many nieces and nephews.

Lorraine recently retired from medical office administration with Susan Rogan Hearing and enjoyed supporting her children and grandchildren by attending their music performances and sporting events. She also loved board games and was an avid bridge player/director.  She was known for always having a good story to tell and was always available to advise and listen to her children and grandchildren and also was always so full of life and will be greatly missed.
